En el caso de Espa\u00f1a el sistema de referencia oficial es el conocido como ETRS89 (y tambi\u00e9n REGCAN95 en Canarias) y la proyecci\u00f3n a utilizar se llama UTM. Ambas cosas unidas se conocen como sistema de coordenadas.
